On Father’s Day, we honor the father God has chosen for us and give thanks for the steady presence, wisdom, and strength that shaped our lives—whether he is still with us or has entered eternal life. Saint John Fisher once wrote, “A good man is not a perfect man; a good man is an honest man, faithful and unhesitatingly responsive to the voice of God in his life.” May we give thanks for the good fathers in our lives who strive to live this calling each day.
What could be a more loving gift than to include your father and all the father figures of your life in the intentions of the Father’s Day Mass here at Saint Benedict Center? It is an eternal gift!
