The purple coverings of Passion Sunday now adorn the Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel, and the solemn chants of Passiontide have begun. As this sacred season unfolds, we prepare our hearts for the most solemn days of the Liturgical Year: the Sacred Triduum.
It is fitting that the latest issue of From the Housetops Magazine—featuring Saint Alphonsus Liguori’s moving account and meditations on the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ—is now available in our online shop. This beautifully illustrated edition offers an inspiring spiritual companion for the days leading up to Holy Week. Purchase your copy here.
We will be blessed to once again celebrate the most sacred ceremonies of Holy Week on the monastery grounds, following the Traditional Latin Liturgy. As always, the public is invited to join us; please note the times on our 2026 Holy Week Schedule for IHM Chapel. On the same page you will find a form where you are invited to submit your Holy Week Intentions for remembrance in the ceremonies and placement on the altar during these holy days.
During this season, it is customary to make an offering in support of the Church. Our newly updated online giving page offers benefactors meaningful ways to contribute, such as sponsoring Easter flowers for Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel. Your generous support sustains the mission of Saint Benedict Center, and we trust that God rewards those who give with open hearts.
Please know that the Brothers and Sisters are praying for all our family, friends, benefactors, students, and campers during these holy days of Passiontide and Holy Week. May the wounded Hands of Christ bless you and keep you close to His pierced Side. We ask that you remember us in your prayers as well.
