Every Christmas, we compile a wish list of much-needed items for camp. Thanks to the generosity of many camp families and donors, we were able to acquire these items and put them to use this summer at Morning Star Camp! Here’s a glimpse of your donations in action:

The new beverage dispensers provided easy access to refreshing drinks during mealtimes.

Campers (and Sisters) enjoyed using the new red and blue life jackets, which ensured that boating was both safe and fun!

Seven camp families came together to purchase sets of rosary pliers for the beading class at camp. The families’ names were put on each pair, allowing campers to say a prayer for them each time they use them.

The two large speakers (donated from our 2022 Wish List) are heavily used for music activities, campfire, and Talent Night events. The two new karaoke machines (primarily used for field events) were also well-used, both at our home camps and during away camps!

This year, we were also able to purchase a new mixing board, which controls the volume for the microphones, speakers, guitar, and piano—all made possible by our generous donors.

After taking inventory of our current sailboats, we realized we needed to replace a few that were beyond repair. Thanks to several donations from the camp applications, we welcomed two brand new Sunfish sailboats that took their maiden voyages at Morning Star Camp this summer. We were also able to replace the majority of the sails on our older boats.

Thank you to our generous donors for all your sacrifices in making Morning Star Camp a beautiful experience for young Catholic girls! Campers and staff remembered you daily throughout the camp program. Be assured of our continued prayers. May God reward you!
