On the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, Matthew Bacon was accepted as a Novice of the Brothers MICM.
During an evening Mass, Matthew approached the altar to receive the habit of a Brother Novice and a new name in religion. He will now be known as “Brother Louis Marie,” taking for his patron the great Saint Louis Marie de Montfort.
With the beginning of the novitiate, Brother now enters a two-year period of study and formation before First Vows. May Our Lady of Lourdes guide and protect him along the way! Please keep Brother Louis Marie in your prayers! Perseverance, Brother!
