O God, Who under a wonderful Sacrament hast left us a memorial of Thy Passion, grant us, we beseech Thee, to venerate the Sacred Mysteries of Thy Body and Blood so that we may always feel within us the fruit of Thy Redemption. Who livest and reignest world without end. Amen. (Collect for the Feast of Corpus Christi)

The Feast of Corpus Christi is a cornerstone of the Catholic faith, as we treasure the True Presence of Jesus in our tabernacles. This year, the feast coincided with the first sessions of our summer youth programs, adding a new dimension to the celebration.

Here on the monastery grounds, the Brothers commemorated the feast with Holy Mass, a Procession, and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, with the faithful who regularly attend the liturgy.

It was a unique experience to have the same celebration taking place two hours north at our camp facility. There, the Sisters and young women attending the Morning Star Leadership Week enjoyed the same feast in the beautifully rustic chapel on the grounds. You can find more photos from this event on their website.

We thank God for His presence among us, both here at the monastery and in the camps, and for the tremendous gift of being able to attend the Traditional Latin Mass daily in those places, both during the camp season and throughout the year here at Saint Benedict Center. Deo Gratias!
