“Let your door stand open to receive Him, unlock your soul to Him, offer Him a welcome in your mind, and then you will see the riches of simplicity, the treasures of peace, the joy of grace. Throw wide the gate of your heart, stand before the sun of the everlasting light…” ~St. Ambrose

We have followed Christ through the sacred rites of the Sacred Triduum. From the solemn Mass and procession of Holy Thursday to the pain and suffering of Good Friday, where we adore the Holy Cross. From the quiet expectation of Holy Saturday to the blazing light of Christ shining in the darkness at the Easter Vigil, culminating in the glorious beauty and triumph of Easter Sunday. Once again, we have been blessed to celebrate these traditional rites during the holiest days here at our monastery. God is so good. We now enjoy the presence of the Risen Christ and the “treasures of peace and the joy of grace” that He brings. Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
