The feast of Our Lady’s Birthday, September 8, 2024, was celebrated with due honor – and also with the reception of a new novice! Madeleine Robbins completed her months of serious discernment as a postulant and received the habit and white veil of a novice with the Sisters, Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. She has also taken a new name in religion, Sister Maria Francesca, taking for her patroness the intrepid Mother Cabrini!
It was a joy to have some of Sister’s family here for the celebration. It was a beautiful day in every way. Please keep Sister Maria Francesca in your prayers as she begins her two years of study and formation in preparation for First Vows. Perseverance, Sister!
