“Bring flowers of the fairest, bring flowers of the rarest, from garden and woodland and hillside and vale; Our full hearts are swelling, our glad voices telling the praise of the loveliest Rose of the Vale. O Mary! We crown thee with blossoms today, Queen of the Angels, Queen of the May!”

The annual May Procession here at Saint Benedict Center took place on Sunday, May 21, 2023. A glorious sung Mass at 11 a.m., was followed by the blessing of the crowns and the crowning of Our Lady of Fatima on the sedia. The Procession then departed Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel and wended its way through the monastery grounds and along Route 110. Five statues were crowned along the way, each followed by a decade of the Rosary. The climax of the event took place on the front lawn of the Convent with outdoor Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. It was a beautiful spring day that reflected the full hearts and souls of all that participated in the procession to praise the loveliest Rose of the Vale!
