What happens when you mix the feast of two Saints, bread and music? Well, you get a memorable weekend of festive food and celebration! That’s what happened on March 19, 2022, when our annual Saint Patrick’s Talent Night took place on the feast of Saint Joseph!

Our first Saint Joseph's Table! Thanks to the Camardo and Napoli families, the community enjoyed its first Saint Joseph’s Table! The front hall of MacIsaac Hall was “Little Italy” for the evening as everyone enjoyed the Sicilian Catholic tradition from the Middle Ages. Elaborate loaves of bread baked into symbolic shapes, foods, flowers, and fruits adorned the table where Saint Joseph’s statue was enshrined. Father gave the traditional blessing before everyone enjoyed a meal of the bread and Italian soups provided by the Camardo and Napoli families. May Saint Joseph bless these families abundantly!

As visitors left Little Italy of the front hall, they entered Little Ireland in the gym proper! Shamrocks and green and gold decorated the stage, and it was time for the annual Saint Patrick’s Day Talent Night, an even that has been running annually for about 40 years here at SBC! Thanks to Tom Clasby, the MC of the night, and a variety of talent shared by all ages, the show was enjoyable from start to finish!

It was a night to remember and a “Favorite Saints’ Fest” as we honored Saint Joseph and Saint Patrick together! Enjoy some highlights from the evening in the video below! All you holy Saints of God, pray for us!
