The state of Idaho again hosted both Montfort Boys Camp and Morning Star Girls Camp this summer on the same week… but ironically at completely opposite ends of the state! Read about both camps (and check out their photo galleries) below!
Montfort Boys Camp
Four Brothers brought the Montfort day-camp program to Eagle Idaho for a second time at the beginning of August. Sixty enthusiastic campers were ready to jump right into the day program at Twin Oaks Farm. The balance of catechism, sports, music, competitions and relays kept everyone moving from start to finish! Special thanks to the Cheek family, Twin Oaks Farm, volunteer Dads, and all those who helped make Montfort Camp Idaho possible again this year! May God bless and reward you!
Morning Star Girls Camp
Meanwhile, three Sisters brought Morning Star Camp program to Post Fall Idaho! Hosted by Saint Joan of Arc Parish for the third year, the regular 4-day overnight camp took place at a nearby facility called Ross Point, and was attended by 50 eager girls ages 9-17. The classic Morning Star schedule of Faith and Fun was embellished by the amenities of the camp ground… and no one wanted to leave!
Afterwards, a 2-day day camp took place at the Parish for girls ages 5-12 and was attended by 45 happy campers! Special thanks to Father Gordon, the staff of Saint Joan of Arc Parish, our volunteer counselors, and all those who helped make Morning Star Idaho shine once again this summer! God bless you!
