The Montfort Camps, directed by the Brothers MICM, had a full attendance of campers and staff once again for the 2021 camp season! (Be sure to see the two videos below!)
The season opened with a week of 85 boys during the Montfort Boys’ Camp. From the moment they passed the stone pillars of Montfort Retreat on the first day, the program is a non-stop tempo of prayer, games, sports, water fun, fishing, competitions and activities of all kinds. Thanks to the generous staff of volunteer Dads and lifeguards, the week was “smooth sailing” and the campers went home with many happy memories on the last day! Two weeks later the Brothers were back again, this time with 84 High School/College age young men for the annual Montfort Youth Retreat. Mass, Benediction and Confession are the central events of the program, and thanks to Father Daniel Becker, they were made available daily. The intensified program with religious talks by the Brothers for older boys, boasts of all that the camp facility can offer for the spirited competition of young men.
