EXPANSION UPDATE! On December 12, 2017, Our Lady of Guadalupe enfolded our monastery in her arms, and with it the 77 acres of Evans Farm behind the school and chapel property. What a blessing to finally close on the purchase of the property on such a lovely feast of Our Lady! She is truly watching over us!
Thanks to Our Lady of Guadalupe, and to your generous support, we can now look out over the expanse of fields and streams and begin to plan the next level of our Monastery Expansion! How exciting!
Over the past week, the first floor of the farm house has already been cleaned and painted by the Sisters and made ready for the Christmas season! Recreation walks can now explore the property as we map out our strategy.
However we still have a large loan to pay off and donations are greatly appreciated to help us defray the cost and begin adapting the property and structures to the monastery needs!
We trust that Our Lady of Guadalupe will make our plea heard to the hearts and souls that can help this worthy cause! After all she did say to all of us, when she spoke these words to Saint Juan Diego:
“Am I not here who am your Mother? Are you not under my shadow and protection? Am I not your fountain of life? Are you not in the folds of my mantle? In the crossing of my arms? Is there anything else you need?”
