On Saturday, October 7, 2017, the feast of the Holy Rosary – while a continuous Rosary was recited in IHM Chapel throughout the day, outside the monastery was once again transformed into an autumn fair.
Started over 30 years ago as a bake & yard sale in the school parking lot, “the Bazaar” has grown into an annual event with a variety of ethnic foods, good ol’ home baked delights and Sister-made apple pies and apple pizzas. Treasure hunting in the giant yard sale as well as games and raffles add to the happy comaraderie of visitors from across the state and beyond! It’s an old fashioned fair and a day of fun for families that have made this an annual event!
This year, the extra push for fundraising to benefit the Monastery Expansion Campaign gave an even greater energy to event… and thanks to a wonderful day, and a tremendous amount of visitors and supporters – 2017 broke all records for past bazaars!
