This year on the feast of Saint Louis Marie de Montfort, a champion for the Blessed Mother and from whose work is based our community’s spirituality of True Devotion and Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary, two young men dedicated their lives as Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The feast was doubly special – as these two young men were twin brothers!

Brothers Profess VowsTwin brothers united in family, they now supernaturalized that unity by becoming Brothers in spirit as they both made their professions of vows as Slaves.

Brother Patrick Joseph, having completed the novitiate, a time of prayer, work, and study begged “the mercy of God and the companionship of the community” before pronouncing his first vows.

Brother Christopher Isaac, having already spent three years in first vows, now pronounced his vows as a perpetually professed member of the community.

The impactful ceremony left the Brothers with new habits, cinctures, and the light of Christ as they “put off the old man, and put on the new” and solidified their resolve to live for Jesus through Mary.
