It was a long trek from Arkansas to Massachusettes, but the Sonnier family was happy to make the journey and brave the New England weather in order to see their lovely young daughter take her next step in religious life.

Clair Sonnier completed her six months of postulancy and discernment and received the habit of a Novice, on the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, February 11. Now known as Sister Mary Clair, she wears the white veil as a Bride-to-be during the next two years of study and formation in preparation for taking the Vows of Poverty, Chastity and Obedience.

The Sonnier family was happy and supportive of their daughters path to God; and the community is delighted to welcome Sister Mary Clair into our religious family. Please pray for her as she continues on toward becoming a Bride of Christ. Perseverance, Sister!
