Seventy catholic young women from across the country spent a week of training, exercises and fun at Morning Star Leadership Camp during the week of June 23-29, 2013.
The fantastic group jumped right into the schedule of prayer, classes, music, art, waterfront activities, hiking and sports with a gusto. Public speaking, learning to teach others to sing and dance, dramatized social scenarios were among the enjoyably educational training sessions that help strengthen their Catholic Faith in action… and helped make new friends in the meantime!
When the “Leaders” left on the feast of Saints Peter and Paul it was hopefully with the realization that they will be sure to preach to the world and lead others to Christ – as long as they remember to always follow Him.
