The school band marching season has begun again; there are theology and Latin students to teach, and yet, the Brothers are still making strides on the gym/auditorium project!
Its not unusual to see cars slowing down on Route 110 to check out the progress on what is already a striking facility!
During the past month the piping under the convent drive has been finished and a new gravel topping is being spread. Most of the windows have also been put in the front part of the building.
Mike Lodge, our tried and true master carpenter from the Montfort Retreat project, began work on the trusses for the front entry of the gym in mid-September.
The first magnificent post and beam truss was lifted into place on September 27, and the front entryway has progressed since then! Please consider making a donation to this project, and stay tuned for updates!
