“Confirm, O God, what Thou hast wrought in us.” On June 23, 2012, the Most Reverend Robert J. McManus, of the Worcester Diocese, administered the Sacrament of Confirmation to thirty-one Confirmandi in Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel.
The twelve o’clock sunshine shone majestically through the stained glass windows, adding a mystical appearance to this beautiful Sacrament of strength and fortitude. The inspiring words of the Bishop, urged these new Soldiers of Christ to be defenders of the Faith, and the sponsors to be vigilant exemplars in their state of life.
The powerful ceremony ended with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
May the newly confirmed go forth bearing the standard of Christ fearlessly.
