Mission to Idaho

The weekend of September 29th through October 2nd, the Sisters were invited to visit Saint Joan of Arc Parish in Couer d'Alene Idaho.

idahooct17Sister Magdalene Marie and Sister Mary Clair brought a little of the active life and works of the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary to the families and young ladies of the parish with presentations and talks on True Devotion to Mary and vocations to religious life.

A schedule of fun events with girls of different age groups, gave everyone a chance to meet the Sisters and spend some time together.

The Sisters and some participants also  walk in the footsteps of the great missionary, Father de Smet, by visiting the Mission of the Sacred Heart which was built by the Couer d’Alene Indians with the Jesuit missionaries.

May God bless the parish of Saint Joan of Arc for their warm welcome and hospitality!

If you are interested in sponsoring a few of the Sisters or the Brothers to come for a similiar visit to your parish, feel free to contact us.
