The month dedicated to the Holy Souls is quickly approaching! On November 2nd, All Souls’ Day, the Church seems to pause in her daily feasts to pray for all who have gone before us …and to solemnly remind us of the Four Last Things: Death; Judgement; Heaven or Hell.

Mass for the Holy Souls in PurgatoryPrayers for the Holy Souls are a double benefit. By assisting these suffering by your prayers, you also gain eternal friendships! As Saint Alphonsus Ligouri once stated, “I hold for certain that a soul delivered from Purgatory by the suffrages of a Christian, when she enters paradise, will not fail to say to God: ‘Lord, do not suffer to be lost that person who has liberated me from the prison of Purgatory, and has brought me to the enjoyment of Thy glory sooner than I have deserved.’”

Here at Saint Benedict Center, we will have the three Masses for the Dead and will remember the souls both known and unknown that have gone before us. If you would like your departed loved ones to be remembered in a special way on All Souls’ Day and throughout the month of November please fill out the form below.
