Montfort is unique in that it has a truly Catholic ethos.  Every morning starts with Reveille calling the boys to prayer in the Chapel, followed by a Traditional Latin Mass.

Throughout the entire day, moments of prayer, a daily period of catechetical instruction, Rosary and Benediction instill a routine that will carry them through the summer and remind them who they are, followers of Jesus Christ.

Run by Religious Brothers, Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, who know how to provide a boy’s need for wholesome, challenging, and competitive fun, outside activities abound. Whether it’s water activities, hikes through forests and up a mountain, or traditional sports, Montfort ranks number 1 in providing a great time for all in a spiritual setting.

This year, 80 boys (ages 9 to 13) took part in the Montfort Boys Camp program. A few weeks later 100 young men (ages 14 to 21) arrived for Montfort Youth Retreat which contains more spiritual and motivational instruction.

Knowing that “an army marches on its stomach,” Montfort once again had an excellent cooking staff made up of volunteers of fathers who have sons attending.  Plenty of well-prepared nutritious food were of course considered a highlight by many.

A heart-felt thank you goes out from the Brothers to the volunteer staff, cooks, and benefactors for their great generosity in providing the support that made the summer program of 2018 a great success. God bless you!
