January 17, 2012, marked the 63rd anniversary of the founding of the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Although it was a day celebrated with no school… the chapel was filled for the beautiful High Mass of Saint Anthony the Abbot and to witness the "anniversary blessing" of two new vocations.

After the last gospel, the Sisters received Erika da Silva and Mary-Kate Duffy into their community as postulants.

This six month period, a prelude to the the Noviciate, will enable these young ladies to live the life of a Slave of the Immaculate Heart of Mary with the Sisters  in serious discernment.
