Montfort Retreat

Montfort Retreat is the second home of the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and is a large part of our evangelization. Situated on a quiet lake, in the scenic New Hampshire woods, it is the heart and home of Morning Star Camp for Catholic Girls, run by the Sisters and Montfort Boys Camp, run by the Brothers. The camps have been in existence for nearly thirty years at rented facilities, and only in 2008 did they finally settle into their new and permanent home at Montfort Retreat. The fruit of much labor, sweat and tears, Montfort was planned, and built by the Brothers to fill the specific needs of the camps. But Montfort Retreat has also widened the horizons of evangelization possibilities by the availability of various retreats for youth and adults through the spring, summer and fall. May the message of "To Jesus Through Mary" ever ring through its glorious and peaceful acres! |
