Mancipia Press

ancipia Press, operated by the Brothers, is the printing press where our publications are printed here at Saint Benedict Center. Beginning at the Convent where the Sisters design and layout the projects, they are then taken down the hill to the printshop where it is printed, assembled, stuffed into envelopes and sent to you!

  • From the Housetops   ( 5 Articles )

his booklet is a magazine that was started in the early days of the Center when it was an apostolate to Harvard University in Cambridge. Once the Center moved to Harvard, MA, it took a hiatus until it was revived in 1975 by Brother Hugh Mac Isaac. Since then it has celebrated 35 years of continuous publication with a distribution of over 1 million copies. Each issue features the life of a Saint, with the intention of appealing to the modern reader. Other articles are gleaned from the timeless treasures of the Church, no longer available in print, or they are new articles written in an effort to evangelize.
